Before joining Singapore Biotechnology, Alireza was working for 12 years at CinnaGen, the pioneer and most prominent biotech company of MENA region. He was Executive Vice president of CinnaGen, his responsibility was to coordinate with CEO in alignment of strategies with corporate objectives and affairs in Production, Quality, R&D, Planning, Procurement and Financial departments. Prior to that, he was Chief Quality Officer. Responsible for all aspects of Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Quality Compliance, Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability he was also managing the Regulatory department with experience of over 10 Biosimilar products registration in more than 20 countries. Along with that role Alireza was Qualified Person for 10 years. Design, set up and implementation of the pharmaceutical quality system within his organization enabled him to have over 40 successful GMP audits by authorities across the globe and release of numerous batches of biosimilar products for different markets without any serious defect or recall.
Al earned his Pharm.D. at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, where he was also Research Assistant at the Department of Biotechnology in School of Pharmacy research centre.

Amardeep was also involved in multiple MedTech engagements in the JAPAC region.
At IMS, Amar assisted biopharma clients on brand and commercial strategy, portfolio design and commercial due diligence. He has worked on projects with global and cross border focus and is familiar with regulatory frameworks and market dynamics for not just India but also select developed and emerging markets.
At Cipla BioTec, Amardeep’s role was to oversee overall commercial strategy involving portfolio design, market assessment, business development and licensing.
Amardeep has been a speaker at various international conferences on biosimilars and driving access to biologic treatments. In addition, he has also authored White Papers.
After having completed his Bachelors in Pharmacy from Mumbai University, Amardeep went on to earn his MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta.
